“Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day.” – John Grogan

Finally! An event for some of our most cherished members in our community – our dog! Put on your dog’s best bandana and let him chase his tail with other furry friends at Dogapalooza. With an off-leash play area, pet parade, and interactive booths, Dogapalooza is a great way for you to spend quality time with the one who can’t wait for you to get home.

Whether it’s a scratch behind the ears or an extra long game of fetch, a dog loves to be spoiled by its human. This weekend you can show your appreciation to your doggo at Dogapalooza held at the new dog park at Cane Creek Park on Saturday, Sept. 25 beginning at 10 a.m.

Don’t have a dog? There’s plenty of fall-related festivals, free live music, and art related events happening in Cookeville and surrounding areas this weekend. Check out our community calendar and plan your weekend in town. You can always check out the upcoming event highlights in Coming This Week!
