What better way to celebrate your Labor Day weekend than sitting back in your lawn chair on a summer evening in front of a live orchestra! The Bryan Symphony Orchestra is inviting the community to join them at the Dogwood Performance Pavilion for a free admission outdoor performance as they highlight the works of notable and underrepresented composers on Sunday, Sept. 5 beginning at 7 p.m.

While the community concert is being held later in the evening at the park, be sure grab a bite at one of Cookeville’s local eateries and head over to Dogwood Park before the performance. The Bryan Symphony Orchestra is hosting it’s second annual Art in the Park event that Sunday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. Find a new favorite art piece from a local artist and bring the whole family for live demonstrations and interactive activities!

The Bryan Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit organization with a mission to engage, educate, and enrich our community through the performance of live music. The symphony is celebrating a new 2021-2022 concert season, entitled “New Beginnings!” You can purchase a season ticket here or donate here to provide music education and outreach for students and the community.
